| 26/10/2008 | Combined FITA World Record Status | This year the Autumn Tournament / Combined FITA was run as World Record Status for the first time, and attracted a first-class field from the four corners of the country. Despite adding an eleventh boss there was still a waiting list, which bodes well for next year when we move to a bigger hall. The shoot went well, and everybody appeared to be well satisfied with the event. Thanks to all who helped: we received several comments from the participants on the professionalism and smooth running of the event.

| 28/09/2008 | Annual Chicago Tournament | There was a good turnout to this season-closer, and the weather held off just long enough to finish the shoot in the dry. It was good to see so many recently joined members, and everybody seemed to enjoy themselves, despite the distinctly autumnal chill. Results show both the Chicago score & the amended American equivalent. | more |

| 29/06/2008 | Annual Albion | Our Annual Albion took place on Sunday. Strong blustery winds and the odd shower kept scores down, but the large field seemed to enjoy the event. The A.T.C. provided a lot of help to the field party, and the event ran smoothly despite the weather. Many thanks to all who helped and made the event run so well. | . |

| 12/03/2008 | Droitwich Archery Society AGM | The Droitwich Archery Society AGM was held this evening at DRFC. Apart from the committee there were only 3 members in attendance - a very disappointing turnout. Largely due to this the committee remains substantially unchanged. Some points to note: Ron Douglas was made an Honorary Life Member in recognition of his 30 years of service to the club. 'All-carbon' arrows are banned from DRFC. Ernie Goodman joins the committee as a members' rep. A summary can be had by clicking 'more'. | more |
